# Roundr Control: The tournament desk on one screen

Control is where a tournament is prepared and run: entries, draws, courts, the order of play and every result. On match day the desk sees the state of each court as it changes and sends the next match to a free court with a tap.

## What it does

- **Every court at a glance.** Which court is playing, which is free and which needs an umpire. The overview changes as the tablets score.
- **Draws by the regulations.** Knockout draws seeded and drawn the way the BWF regulations describe, round robins with standings, playoffs for every place and groups that feed a knockout.
- **Import what you already have.** Load entries and draws from a CSV file, or let your own system send them with an API key. A corrected file loads over the first one.
- **Staff and roles.** Give directors, referees and umpires a role in a tournament. Each person can change what their role allows, and the record names whoever changed a score.
- **Paper for when the network goes.** Print score sheets and the order of play before play starts. The tablets keep scoring offline, and the desk has paper of its own.
- **Results you can rely on.** A result counts once it is confirmed. A referee can correct a score or reopen a match, and every change is kept.

## From entries to a published draw

Enter or import the entries, choose a format and let Roundr place them: seeds by your ranking, the rest by a lot the server draws and records, byes where the regulations put them.

Adjust by hand if you need to, then publish. The matches of the draw join the queue, and every winner moves into the next round the moment a result is confirmed.

## The whole hall, joined up

Each court has a tablet for its umpire, the hall has screens on the wall and the desk runs Control on a laptop. Everything talks to the same server, so a point scored on court 4 is on the wall and on Live a moment later.

A device joins with a code or a QR scan. Nobody has to sign in on a tablet.
